Caps @ Bruins 3-2 in OT
A disappointing loss for the Caps on Tuesday but we had a solid offense the entire game and the defense was decent except for some extremely costly turnovers. Jose Theodore is finally earning his paycheck, at least a good portion of it. At the end of the second period Ovechkin got hit hard and was down on the ice for about 15 seconds before he started moving. A real scare for Caps fans everywhere but he came back in the third and he appeared to be fine. I’m glad to see we competed with Boston for the entire game, especially since we’re probably going face them come playoffs. Also our power play unit was awesome which is a great sign. Still a lot work to be done on the penalty kill though, until we shore that up we can’t be taking any penalties especially bad ones like Semin’s tripping penalty in the Ottawa game. We’re going to have to fix that if we have any chance of going deep in the playoffs.
